Refund Policy

This page explains how refunds work for Quilt Geek subscriptions, depending on where you subscribed — the App Store, Google Play, or the web via Paddle. For general terms, see our Terms and Conditions.

App Store Subscriptions (iPhone / iPad)

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases directly.

To request a refund:

  • Or contact Apple Support: support.apple.com/contact

Apple's standard refund policies apply.

Google Play Subscriptions (Android)

Refunds for Google Play purchases are handled by Google.

  • For purchases made within the last 48 hours, you may be eligible for a self-service refund directly in Google Play.
  • For other requests, contact Google Play Support.

Web Subscriptions (via Paddle)

Web purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (18–29 Mora St, London, EC1V 8BT, UK), who acts as the Merchant of Record for all web transactions.

Your right to withdraw

If you are located in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with equivalent statutory rights, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from your first payment on a web subscription, starting from the date of that payment (or, if your plan includes a free trial, from the date your trial converts to a paid subscription).

For most customers, this right applies to your first payment only and does not apply to subsequent renewal payments, except where required by applicable local law. If you completed your purchase in the UK and have an annual subscription, you get a new 14-day right to withdraw each time your subscription renews annually — not just on your first payment. This right to withdraw doesn't apply if you gave us express consent to start providing access to Quilt Geek immediately, and you've already started using the app before the withdrawal period ended.

How to request a refund

  1. Email us at hello@designedtoquilt.com within 14 days of your (first) purchase date
  2. Include the email address used for purchase and your Paddle order reference (found in your receipt email)
  3. We will process your refund through Paddle

Please note

  • Once approved, refunds are processed by Paddle within 14 days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take a few additional business days for the refund to appear on your statement
  • Upon refund, access to Quilt Geek premium features is revoked immediately
  • After the 14-day window, you may still cancel at any time to prevent future renewals, but you are not entitled to a refund for the current billing period
  • Beyond the statutory right above, Paddle may, at its discretion, grant a refund outside these conditions — see Paddle's Refund Policy for details

Managing or Cancelling Your Subscription

  • App Store: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your device
  • Google Play: Google Play app > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions
  • Web: the link in your Paddle receipt email, or the subscription management section in the Quilt Geek app
