About These Terms

Thank you for using Quilt Geek. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our services. Please read them carefully.

When we say "we," "us," or "our," we mean Designed to Quilt, operated by Oblikovanje Ula Kovačič Kokalj, s.p. (Lepa cesta 11, 6320 Portorož, Slovenia). VAT number: 79153500.

When we say "Services," we mean Quilt Geek — our quilting calculator mobile application for iOS and Android, and the website quiltgeek.com.

When we say "you," we mean the person using our Services.

By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using them.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or display a notice in the app. Continued use of our Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

What We Offer

Quilt Geek is a mobile app for iOS and Android that helps quilters with fabric calculations, cutting layouts, backing, binding, and other quilt math. It is available as a free download, with a paid subscription that unlocks all features.

Your Account

Quilt Geek is available to download on the App Store and Google Play — no account is needed. Your subscription is tracked via an anonymous user ID generated by your app installation.

Our Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or for other reasons at our discretion. We will provide notice when reasonably possible.

Data storage

Calculations and project data you save in the app are stored locally on your device. This data is not automatically backed up to our servers or synchronized across devices. We are not liable for data lost due to device changes, resets, or reinstallation of the app.

Subscriptions

Plans and billing

Quilt Geek is free to download and includes two calculators available to all users at no cost. A paid subscription — monthly or annual — unlocks full access to all calculators and charts. Current pricing is shown in the app and on our purchase pages. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

You can subscribe through three channels:

  • App Store (iPhone / iPad)
  • Google Play (Android)
  • Web, processed through Paddle (see below)

Free trial

We offer a 7-day free trial with the annual subscription plan. The monthly plan does not include a free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.

App Store and Google Play subscriptions

Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play are billed and managed by Apple or Google respectively, and their payment terms apply.

To manage or cancel an App Store subscription: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your device.

To manage or cancel a Google Play subscription: Google Play app > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep full access until then.

Web subscriptions via Paddle

Quilt Geek subscriptions can also be purchased directly on the web. Web purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (18–29 Mora St, London, EC1V 8BT, UK), who acts as the Merchant of Record for all web transactions. Paddle handles billing, payment processing, tax, and receipts.

By purchasing on the web, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Use (https://www.paddle.com/legal/terms) and Paddle's Privacy Policy (https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy).

After your purchase, you'll receive a redemption link by email. Click it to connect your web purchase to your app's anonymous RevenueCat user ID, activating your subscription. Redemption links are single-use and expire after 60 minutes — if yours expires, a new one is sent automatically to your email address.

To manage or cancel a web subscription, use the link in your Paddle receipt email or the subscription management section in the Quilt Geek app.

Price changes

We may change subscription prices from time to time and will notify you in advance in accordance with applicable law.
